The Nursery

When we left the house for the doctors office and hospital the nursery was incomplete and the house was a mess. My mother rose to the occasion and cleaned up and finished the nursery. She was very creative with the room. The basic color scheme of the room is pink and green. The bedding was already done; it was the floral and polka dot design from Pottery Barn (Claire). Mama added the butterflies and flowers on the wall. This rocking chair belonged to my maternal grandmother.
This was the first sample of the window treatment. But we ended up using some multi-colored shower curtains that are really cute with chrome rods with pink crystal finials.
We picked the tall rug with the multi-colored flowers. It looks great on the floor.
